Explanation
Insurance fees are calculated once a month, based on the highest Inventory holding of each SKU.
- The maximum inventory value of each SKU is multiplied by the Insurance Value in the base data.(Selling Price will be capture for Insurance calculation if the field was left BLANK).
- The results of the maximum inventory value per SKU are added to the maximum inventory value:
- Insurance is charged for every 1000€ inventory value.
Example: 0,35€ per unit; max. inventory value = 10.000€
Insurance fee =0,35€ * 10.000€ / 1000€ = 3,50€.
We recommend you to always check your data carefully!
The insurance value can be seen in the article base data.
How can you prevent it
- Please make sure that the insurance value is correctly entered in the base data.
- Insurance value = Net purchase price
- If the insurance value is empty, the sales price will be used, resulting in higher fees!
