How to Create a Return Link
In the Connector, go to Shipping Labels → Return Link.
ADD NEW RETURN LINK
- Select the Shipping Service (with the correct warehouse or, in the case of SIY, the service agreed upon with Customer Care).
- Weight input: Visible when the weight needs to be provided for each individual return, or you can enter a standard weight if the returns generally have approximately the same weight.
- The Ship to address is fixed and defined through the carrier (either the warehouse address or your office address for Send it Yourself). You can enter it under Define Ship to Address to have a better overview in the Connector when multiple return links are created.
→ Click on Save to create the return link.
The return link can be selected from the overview.
From here, you can easily copy the link to share with your customers.
How Your Customers Can Use the Return Link
Once you have created a return link, you can make it available for your customers to use, for example by:
- Once a customer requests a return, your customer service can send them the link.
- If you have a “free returns” policy in your shop, you can make the return link visible to all your customers (e.g., include it in every order confirmation email).
- You can choose to embed the link directly on your shop website. Just copy the link and create a connection on your webpage for it.
With this, you allow your customers to create a return label themselves. To the customer, the return label link will look as follows:
| Note: In the field Order ID/Reference, please tell the customer to enter the Connector order number or your shop reference number (e.g., invoice number). This is necessary to associate the return with the original order in the warehouse and is a fixed step that cannot be skipped. |
Enter all the details and click on Create Label to create a return label. A PDF will open which can be printed.
NEW!
| Your Seller logo is now visible on the return link page for your customers, provided that your logo has already been uploaded in the Connector. |
